Privacy Policy
룬피부과의원 ("the Clinic") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and related laws and takes the protection of users' personal information seriously. This Policy applies to personal information collected and used through the website operated by the Clinic. Medical records created and kept during treatment are managed separately in accordance with the Medical Service Act and related laws.

1. Items of Personal Information Collected and Method of Collection
The Clinic collects the following personal information through its website. Sensitive information (such as health information) is not collected online; information necessary for treatment is collected on-site through a separate procedure.

Personal information is collected either when a user directly enters it while submitting a consultation/reservation inquiry or a post, or when it is automatically generated and collected during use of the services.
2. Purpose of Collection and Use
- Confirming, responding to, and providing guidance on consultation and reservation inquiries
- Operating the bulletin board, managing posts, and verifying identity
- Analyzing service usage statistics and improving service quality
- Preventing fraudulent and unauthorized use
3. Retention and Use Period
- In principle, the Clinic destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of its collection and use has been achieved.
- Consultation/reservation inquiry information: destroyed after the inquiry is handled (destroyed without delay upon the user's request).
- Bulletin board posts: retained until deleted by the user or until termination of the service.
- Where retention is required by applicable law, information is kept for the period prescribed by that law (e.g., access logs under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act).
4. Provision to Third Parties
The Clinic uses users' personal information within the scope disclosed in this Policy and does not use it beyond that scope or provide it to third parties without the user's prior consent. Exceptions apply where there is a special provision in law or where an investigative agency makes a request in accordance with the procedures and methods prescribed by law.
5. Entrustment of Personal Information Processing
Where necessary for the smooth provision of services, the Clinic may entrust personal information processing tasks to external parties (e.g., website hosting/server operation, visit statistics analysis). In such cases, the trustee and the details of the entrusted work are disclosed through this Policy, and necessary matters are stipulated so that personal information is managed safely.
6. Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and How to Exercise Them
- Users may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of their personal information.
- Rights may be exercised by contacting the Personal Information Protection Officer in writing, by phone, etc., and the Clinic will take action without delay.
- If a user requests correction of an error in personal information, the Clinic will not use or provide the information until the correction is completed.
7. Procedure and Method of Destruction
- Procedure: personal information whose purpose has been achieved is destroyed without delay; where retained under law, it is stored separately and destroyed once the period elapses.
- Method: information in electronic file form is deleted using a technical method that prevents recovery or reproduction, and paper documents are shredded or incinerated.
8. Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information
- Administrative measures: minimizing and training staff who handle personal information
- Technical measures: managing access rights, retaining access logs, installing and operating security programs
- Physical measures: controlling access to systems where personal information is stored
9. Installation and Operation of Cookies and Refusal
- The Clinic may use cookies to provide customized services and to analyze usage.
- Users may refuse the storage of cookies through their web browser settings. However, refusing cookies may cause difficulty in using some services.

The Clinic designates a Personal Information Protection Officer who takes overall responsibility for personal information processing and handles users' inquiries, complaints, and remedies related to personal information processing.
