Post-Treatment Care
Please keep the healing tape (e.g., Duoderm) applied at the clinic in place for one week. If the treated area is shallow or extensive, the tape may be replaced with healing ointment.
Please wash your face with the healing tape on and dry the area thoroughly. When the tape turns white from absorbing wound fluid, please replace it with a new one.
If you have contact dermatitis or a bandage allergy, please inform us before the procedure.
For deep lesions that cannot be completely removed in a single session, retouching or additional treatment is recommended at 6–8 week intervals, once the skin has fully recovered.
Redness or scabbing at the treated area is part of the normal skin regeneration process and will gradually improve over 1–4 weeks.
Due to the nature of the procedure, scars or hyperpigmentation may remain depending on individual skin type. If any abnormal reactions occur, please contact the clinic.
Skin may become dry after the procedure, so please apply moisturizer and barrier-repair cream frequently. When going outdoors, apply sunscreen and avoid prolonged sun exposure.
For optimal recovery, please avoid alcohol, smoking, saunas, steam rooms, swimming, and strenuous exercise for at least one week.
These instructions provide general post-treatment care information for patients treated at Lunn Dermatology Clinic.
If you need medical advice or have any concerns, we recommend contacting the clinic or scheduling an in-person consultation.
